MIAMI, FL – May 18, 2016
Miami-based H3 Hospitality, headed by Justin Schultz and Seth Gadinsky, has been named as the exclusive leasing agent for 180,000+ square feet of retail and food and beverage space at MiamiCentral, the 11-acre transit-oriented development in the heart of Downtown Miami and future home of the Brightline train service.
MiamiCentral will include over 80,000 square feet of retail and entertainment space on two levels of the station pedestal along NW 1st Avenue between NW 3rd and NW 8th Streets, and CentralFare, a 50,000 square foot artisanal marketplace featuring six restaurants and 20 kiosks, offering everything from grab-and-go meals to full-service dining experiences, as well as fresh produce and meats. Local favorites Azucar Ice Cream Company, Blackbrick Chinese, Doggi’s, Miami Smokers, Romanicos Chocolate, Rosetta The Italian Bakery, and Toasted Bagelry & Deli have signed on, and celebrity chefs and brothers Brian and Michael Voltaggio will operate Monger, a new 10,000 square foot restaurant concept. MiamiCentral will also include approximately 300,000 square feet of “Class A” office space and approximately 800 residential rental units.
“We are thrilled to be working with the Brightline team on this transformative new project,” said Justin Schultz, co-founder and President of H3 Hospitality. “We are curating a truly unique mix of retail, dining and entertainment options, including some original concepts that will be found only in Miami, and only at MiamiCentral.”
“This is the first project of its kind in Florida. MiamiCentral will cause a seismic shift in the center of gravity in Downtown Miami from which major growth will emanate for the foreseeable future,” added Seth Gadinsky, co-founder of H3 Hospitality.
“H3’s local market knowledge and creative thinking fall in line perfectly with our goal of finding a mix of diverse tenants that will continue to elevate the experience of our future customers at MiamiCentral,” said David McIntyre, senior vice president of operations for MiamiCentral and Brightline.
